Jules de Jager and the director team will engage you in a renewed vision for OACS leadership and look forward to your participation in its final formation

10:30 - Workshops: 
OPTION A: Principal Oversight: the School Board’s Most Difficult Task.
Ray Hendriks will lead a discussion on this topic and introduce materials included in the new OACS Principal Oversight Manual.
OPTION B: Do Christian Schools Need Business Plans?
Audrey Roorda will lead a workshop intending to convince school board leaders of this necessity. OACS’ rational for such a proposition will be shared. You can decide if we are leading in the right direction.
OPTION C: Clarifying the Christian School’s Primary Mission and Identity: the Learning!
We know that the heartbeat of Christian schooling is exceptional, Christ-centred learning. But what does that actually look like? Join Justin Cook for inspiring stories from OACS schools that reveal our core dimensions of learning—mastery of knowledge and skills, character development, and beautiful student work that places the Christian school at the centre of culture making in the local community and beyond.
