Christian schools from Alliston, Barrie, Holland Marsh, Muskoka, Orangeville, Owen Sound, Orillia, Port Perry and Willowdale were able to compete at the Barrie course.
Last year, a new midget division for runners aged six to eight was introduced for the first time. This year, a passion for running brought many of those younger students back to the track.
“Running is usually considered an individual sport,” says Michelle Bauer, Coach from Timothy Christian School, Barrie. “This year, Barrie’s focus was on how the team works together as a unit and how each member is crucial to success of the Timothy team.”
