Building Strategic Leadership Capabilities in Human Resources Management Workshop

It is a proven fact that strategic human resource management is one of the critical skills essential to leadership. The role of the administrator is diverse and requires a multitude of skill sets, especially when dealing with people and key stakeholders. This course is focused on the business aspect of developing Human Resource Capability to enhance your performance, impact and results. This highly recommended workshop is designed for current and prospective Administrators in Christian Schools across Canada. This workshop qualifies as one of the four required for the CSPC (Christian School Administrators Certificate).

OCSAA has engaged the professional services of The Talent Consortium to deliver a participatory and informative workshop that will impart relevant and critical knowledge in the area of strategic business and human resources management including:

  • Strategic thinking, planning and execution & Competency profiling,
  • The importance of branding and using effective recruitment & selection techniques
  • Identifying key competencies used when selecting, hiring and promoting staff,
  • Coaching and feedback for managing effective performance,
  • Employment Law Fundamentals and Conflict Management & Team Building
  • How to manage change in a proactive manner
