Students from Timothy Christian School’s Grade 8 graduating class recently volunteered at two homes operated by Christian Horizons, a ministry supporting people who an intellectual disability. Students cleaned, painted and worked around the yard.
“This is a way for the Grade 8 students to ‘leave their blessing on the community’ before they leave Timothy Christian School,” states a school press release.
‘There are so many great life lessons that students took away from this project but the most important one is that we can make a difference in the world by how we serve others,” says principal Rod Berg.
