Matthew Mann, Principal of Immanuel Christian School in Charlottetown, has been selected for Calvin College’s 2014-2015 Van Lunen Center fellowship. Mann will take part in case studies and interactive workshops, and will receive expert training led by the the Center’s faculty and consultants. He and other participants will gain a deeper understanding of topics relevant to executive management skills—like marketing, student recruitment and retention, social media, strategic planning, fund raising campaigns, and sustainability.
The Van Lunen Center at Calvin College exists to provide executive management education for leaders of schools based on the historic Christian faith. Since its establishment in 2007 it has reached out to schools from a wide range of faith traditions, including Baptist, Catholic, evangelical Protestant, Episcopal, independent Christian, Lutheran and Reformed Christian day schools. The Center’s Fellows program is designed for those who seek development in their work as administrators of faith-based schools.
