Rather than making gifts and taking them home to give their moms on Mother’s Day, the Junior Kindergarten class at Woodstock Christian School decided to host a Mother’s Day Tea this year.
Invitations were sent home asking moms to come into the school this past Thursday afternoon, and the children were given the opportunity to spend some one-on-one time with their mothers. It was hard to tell who was more excited about the event—the students or the moms.
During the afternoon tea, the students presented their mothers with gifts they had made, presented them with a poem, and showed them around their classroom. When the afternoon was over, the mothers all agreed it was the best Mother’s Day gift ever!
