Woodland's Robot "Jackknife" Earns a Spot in World Championships

The past season for the robotics team at Woodland Christian High School was very successful! The team, made up of 30 students, worked together for over six weeks at the beginning of the year to put together a robot which they named Jacknife.

The team ended up gaining a wildcard spot in the World Championships in St. Louis, where they competed against 600 of the best robots in the world who were also winners of their regional competitions. Woodland was placed in the Newton division, which was deemed one of the toughest divisions at Worlds, where their 4 team alliance won their division!
